Whether or not the cooperation between corporates and start-ups is truly successful also depends on selecting the right partners on both sides. But one should not make the mistake of thinking that this alone is the recipe for successful cooperation. It is not rare for the strategic direction of a corporate to shift or for contacts to change. And this also fairly often brings an end to the fledgling cooperation into which the start-ups have invested lots of time and energy.
