Sebastian Schwenke has studied industrial engineering and sustainable management at TU Berlin with a focus on entrepreneurship and platform economics. Early on, he was involved in the family business and gained experience in project management and development in the Real Estate industry and was responsible for building up the gastronomy and events segment at “Landhaus Himmelpfort am See”. Up until today he is responsible for financial planning and controlling of the family-run boutique hotel. Additionally Sebastian gained experience as a founder by starting up a business himself in the cultural events space. Since 2018 he is part of the investment committee of BACB Bet. mbH and invests in early stage startups with FOBS Bet. mbH. Sebastian is currently working with the startups Aumio, BerlinGreen, Captiq and re:ignite. In 2021 Sebastian started his new position as managing director of Business Angel Club Berlin-Brandenburg e.V. where he connects startups with business angels and network partners in the metropolitan area Berlin/ Brandenburg.
