Leading the Meta eCommerce Disruptors team, Volker Harbrecht and his team enable the biggest disruptive clients in Quick-commerce, Health-Tech, Ed-Tech, B2B and eCommerce to hyper-grow. They are able to do so by closely collaborating with VCs and PEs as well. His mission is to scale the clients quickly to ensure a leading market position soon. The close collaboration with cross-functional teams and constant innovation of existing Meta products are key. Beside this, he drives innovation initiatives and creator marketing for Meta.
Before Volker Harbrecht joined Meta he spent the majority of his professional career at eBay and eBay Kleinanzeigen. While holding roles like PMO, Category Lead for Business & Industry or Manager eBay Motors he worked in areas like Marketing, Sales, Product Management and Analytics.
His diverse and inclusive leadership style got shaped in his MBA studies in the Graduate School of Management HHL in Leipzig as well as the IIM Ahmedabad in India.
