Entrepreneur with passion for bringing innovation to smallholder farmers in developing markets. Founded ignitia in 2010 and scaled the venture across 10 countries and 3 million farmers as CEO. Since February, Liisa works in a more strategic role supporting expansion at ignitia. Worked as a visiting scientist at University of Washington 2007-2009 in physics/satellite data/climate change. Elected member of the regional council for two periods (8 years) in Sweden. Also served as board member for innovative companies within the energy sector, waste management and in the social sector. Lived for 7 years in West Africa, currently based in the Netherlands.
