Electronics are using up to 9% of the global energy supply today and an estimated 20% by 2030. That is why we are creating all-optical processors to replace power hungry and cooling intensive electronics in datacenters. Our first targets are routers and dedicated security hardware that already have to deal with optical signals through fiber networking and are predestined to be fully photonic. With our chips made in europe and operating at the speed of light, we want to enable a greener future through more eco-friendly fabrication processes and lower energy requirements.
