Partner introduction: Investitionsbank Berlin!
Startupnight is being supported by strong partners who share the same enthusiasm and beliefs. Today, we want to introduce Investitionsbank Berlin (IBB).
Investitionsbank Berlin is the business development bank of the Federal Land of Berlin focusing on business support, as well as support for housing and urban development. With a portfolio of monetary support measures and comprehensive finance consultancy services, the bank focuses on supporting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), start-ups and founders in Berlin.
Important programmes especially for start-ups are “Berlin Start” and microcredits of up to 25.000 euro from the KMU fund. Increasingly important regarding the financing of SMEs is venture capital. IBB provides this with its subsidiary IBB Beteiligungsgesellschaft mbH. For technology-oriented founders the programme “Pro FIT” – early phase financing could be interesting. Additionally, IBB is also active within the crowd-financing community with its programme “IBB MikroCrowd”.
Last but not least IBB provides numerous support offers for start-ups and founders in the scope of its subsidiary IBB Beteiligungsgesellschaft mbH. For instance, they organize the BPW, a contest where founders in Berlin and Brandenburg can win prize money and take part in free seminars, workshops and networking events. Other examples are the trade fair for founders called deGUT and the Start-upBONUS.
As Raphael Kube, who is in charge of startups at IBB, puts it: "To us Startupnight is an excellent opportunity to get to know and experience the diversity of Berlin’s startup scene. It’s a perfect platform to promote the brand IBB, its business development programmes and its offers within this scene."
