Recruiting addresses the global need for talents. Whether it is a corporate, SME or startup, all companies are facing the same challenges: How to persuade someone to work for a company or become a new member of an organization in the time of Digital Society. We will deal with this important topic in three sessions on Thursday, September 8.
Session 1: Digital Society and Digital Economy
What will it look like, the future of the data society and economy? Digitization and the importance of data will certainly not decline. By 2025, the EU Commission expects the global volume of data to increase fivefold. The rapid increase in data volume illustrates the economic importance of data-driven business models - but the associated opportunities to work with data also present us with new challenges and place new demands on education and training - not only in the field of information and communication technologies. Digital practices and business models will continue to be the main drivers of social and economic development in the future.
In this session, international experts, scientists and young entrepreneurs will give critical insights into their visions of the future of the digitalized society and talk about entrepreneurial and individual responsibility as well as new digital technologies and social challenges.
Session 2: Future Talents and Future Work
The future of work is being discussed everywhere under the buzzword of digital transformation. Sometimes the forecasts seem like utopias, sometimes like dystopias. In other words: for some as a positive vision of the future, for others rather as a danger or threat. This shows that the ideas and possibilities of New Work are also a question of social justice and social participation. Digitization is making us more flexible and mobile. Rigid working hours and compulsory presence at the workplace are increasingly disappearing. At the same time, in view of the increasing lack of specialists and skilled employees, especially in the STEM subjects, it will be even more important in the future than it has been in the past how talents and employers attract and connect to each other. To what extent do training, courses of study and employment conditions have to change in order to be able to attract and retain highly qualified employees?
So we will take a critical look at our working future and its consequences for employees, career starters and career biographies, for companies, young entrepreneurs, founders!
Session 3: Creative Entrepreneurship - Foster an Innovation Culture and Creating a Culture of Innovation
Creativity and innovation have become the vital point to enhance the value of entrepreneurship. Creativity and innovation help develop new ways of improving an existing product or service to optimize the business. This also allows entrepreneurs to think outside the box and beyond the traditional solutions. It has, therefore, become essential for both leaders and employees to develop creative skills and to implement and manage innovation. At the same time, innovations are a necessity for our society and our economy if we want to solve the great challenges of our present and future.
