Whether it is plant- or cell-based meat, food waste or personalized nutrition, proteins from bioreactors or autonomous farming machines – under the influence of the ongoing climate change the agritech, food, gastronomy and (food) retail sectors have to change dramatically. Innovations of startups are key for this transformation.

Consumers, especially the younger generations, have already turned towards healthier and more sustainable lifestyles. Digital and technology-driven agrifood innovations are rapidly disrupting the established food industry. The need for adjustment is high. To save the climate, we have to act today – the future of agrifood is now!

The Foodnight by crowdfoods is part of the Startupnight since 2019. On September 1 we offer an inspiring Dialogue Conference program as well as tasty and innovative startup pitches at the Microsoft Atrium in Berlin:

• The "AgriFood for Future" Conference during the day from 12 am – 5 pm (12:00 – 17:00 h)
• And the 24 Agrifood Pitches afterwards in the evening from 6 pm – 9 pm (18:00 – 21:00 h)

Conference and Pitches will focus both on three startup & innovation sectors: Agriculture, Food and Gastronomy. The talk panels at the conference will be organized in a fishbowl format: we will have fixed panelists but also 1-2 free chairs for the audience to join the panel discussion on stage. All panel talks will be moderated.
